How can I block someone from e-mailing me on Yahoo ?

I want to block someone’s e-mail address from giving me e-mails.

Move them to the “spam” box, they’ll get filtered out.

And I think you can create a filter to automatically send someone’s messages to spam or maybe even trash

On Yahoo you can’t block sender. You can only send unwanted mails into trash.
