What is the one simple small thing that can always make you feel good.
Something that will always elevate your mood.
Such as finding a little lost stash of cash.
A little unexpected note from your SO or child.

I find it hard to beat a nice cold one with some good tunes.
An interesting or fun movie on tv, a phone call from friends or family, my ebay stuff in the mailbox, new-to-me books found cheap somewhere, plants blooming for me, stew or soup simmering away, sunshine(which I haven’t seen in days), freshly washed sheets on my superbed, and 1000 other things.
Waking up to a cat “kneading bread” on my head.
Birds singing and tweeting.
Coming home to my cozy little house in the woods.
After a long day of work, or running around, or whatever, I love coming in, greeting the pets, ripping my clothes off asap and putting on something comfy.
Home is where the heart is. ;-)
My baby girl and when someone I love very much’s name pops up on my caller I.D., like my mom or a few great friends. I immediately become happier just seeing their name there. :)
Erm, they aren’t mine. But, they are cute, I won’t argue with that!
When a friend stops by, when I come home and my dog dances with craziness, when I found a 50 dollar bill stashed in my underwear secret place that I had forgotten about.
Chocolate dipped in peanut butter.
When my husband reaches out in his sleep to have me curl up in his arms. Twenty-nine years and it still makes me happy to know he thinks of me even when he’s asleep.

Yes! I drag my big guy ‘Marley’ up to my pillow at night and half cover him up, he purrs & purrs, love dem kitties.
@Coloma plus kitties smell nice too, in the same way that babies heads smell good.
And what @AmWiser said! I actually had a chuckle! and I’m having a cranky hermit day. I probably need some wine.

I feel a great happiness along with huge satisfaction When I help some one, living for only myself is not the purpose of my life.
My boyfriend sends me sweet messages every so often. That always makes me smile.
My dogs make me happy.
Knowing that when I leave work of an evening I have the rest of the evening to myself rather than having to go somewhere else or work overtime. Before Christmas my diary was pretty much full every evening and so by the time I got home it was time to go to bed. Recently I have been trying to keep at least two evenings a week free.
Just saw the baby panda that is in the Atlanta zoo. I’m sitting here grinning like an idiot at how sweet she is. So I guess my answer is baby animals, all baby animals.
Snuggling down into my bed with a new book and my two kitties beside me.
How could I forget spring rolls!

Planter’s Peanut Bars that I found at CVS today! I love those more than any candy bar in the world. I haven’t seen one in about 10 years, but then there they were at CVS. The clerk said that CVS was an Eastern (United States) company and they’ve always had them in the East (the clerk loves them too). I told him that I hadn’t eaten one in years and was thrilled that they now decided to bring them back to the West. Yea!

The way my dog (not the one in the pic) comes running up to me when I get home wagging her tail so hard her whole body moves. It’s so cute. Makes my day.
