As long as a prospective SO didn’t look as though she fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down, looks aren’t that important to me. Her personsonality, however, is. She should be kind, intelligent, considerate, and creative, with a great sense of humor.

The only stipulation I have under “religion” is that her beliefs not clash with mine, and that she be at least a nominal christian.

I like open-minded, intelligent women with a sense of humor and a nice ass.

I am married to an open-minded, intelligent woman with a sense of humor and a nice ass.

I guess I won :)

I like men who are emotionally mature and self-assured, who don’t play mind games or need to be mothered, who are intelligent and funny and are not afraid to show they are caring and affectionate and creative and being tall is very nice too.

Thankfully, my husband qualifies on each count and many more. I am constantly amazed by him.

– Good sense of humor

I fully expect to be single forever.

Someone who will kill spiders for me, but not shove the remains in my face to be funny. Someone who reads, isn’t concerned with being the funniest drunk at the party, will open the door for me, independent, creative, will act like a doofus to make me laugh, supportive. As far as religion goes, I’m cool with anything so long as it’s not rammed down my throat.

Above all, he has to have similar religious and political opinions.
He has to be ready lead and protect.
He needs to make me laugh.
He needs to have eyes that don’t wander!
He needs to have a mouth that smiles more often than not.
I honestly don’t care about looks. When my friends hear who I think is cute, they say I’m crazy! I don’t think about what a guy looks like. I care about how he acts.

I wrote something like this to a question similar about a year ago, and then found it about a month and a half ago. I didn’t remember writing it at all! But, as I thought about it, I realized how much it described this one guy I know. When I wrote it, he was just a simple guy I happened to know, more like a name or my friend’s little sister than an actual person.
