How many days do I have to transfer my tag from my old vehicle to my new vehicle?

I was told that I had 15 days to switch my license plate or tag to my new used vehicle that I have bought from a private seller.

Iamthemb is correct. each state is different and any information given here would probably not be your specific state. call your state motor vehicle department and they will advise you.
