Who doesn't hate winter and snow?

Asked by itsnotanoption (74points) January 23rd, 2011

Every winter we hear people complain, complain, and complain about winter and cold weather, even if there is no snow on the ground.
Are there any people that are not part of that group? That actually like winter?

I love the snow and cold.

There is no bad weather. Just bad clothing.

I guess it rhymes in Swedish and Norwegian, so it’s a catchier phrase up there.
Swedish: Det finns inget dåligt väder, bara dåliga kläder
Norwegian: Det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlige klær

I love to look at snow. It was a veritable winter wonderland today when I drove my husband to the train station.

But getting out of the parking lot at the apartment was hell.

I don’t mind the cold.

I like it, but, only for a few months. Plenty of long, cold, overcast days get me down.

I love the winter and the snow. I wish we had more snow here where we are.

I get really sick of it by the end of February. Before that, I don’t mind it.

I like winter, but the lack of color proves to be the unhappiest part for me. And the only other thing is the restrictive walking through the snow and the constant feeling of walking on sand which gets tiresome after awhile and when melted is comparable to finally being let out of a small confined space…other than that I’m fine with it :))

I love them both but it’s been too long since I’ve had some warmth in my life

I hate snow because it never shows up where I live. I take this lack of attendance as a hate letter to my now-crushed feelings and dreams. ~

I like snow, but I love the sun more.

I love snow, except when I have to share the road with people that don’t knw how to drive in it… like Seattlites.
