Has a character flaw ever kept you from being a criminal?

I was at the mall today, and the cashier was a pretty girl with a wonderful smile. As I walked away, I thought to myself, “Under other circumstances, I could very easily be her stalker.” But then I answered myself, “No way. You’re not that industrious.”

Got me to thinking… has a character flaw ever kept my fellow Jellfolk from becoming criminals?
