Are there any types of pictures on social networking sites annoy you the most?

The type that annoy me are the “trend” pictures. Like..“This week is about preventing child molesters..so change your profile picture to your favorite cartoon character.” Or, change your profile to your celebrity doppelganger week.

Bleh. I won’t do it. I don’t know who came up with these “chain” requests and I won’t play along.

But in all honestly, people’s pictures don’t annoy me. I’ve been in many pictures where I’m sticking my tongue out or obviously drunk with a group of people; it’s just fun to look back on. I have more important things to be annoyed with…people having fun isn’t annoying.

That said, I do find those chain requests @geeky_mama mentions a little annoying.

It annoys me when little girls look like sex kittens and no one complains, but if a mother is nursing her baby people have a cow.

The people that take their facebook picture in the bathroom mirror with their phone bothers me.

Not sure why, it just does.

Ripped guys lifting up their shirt to partially show their abs.

Girls standing bowlegged and awkwardly staring into the camera in an effort to look cutesy and fun.

Any picture that elicits comments with the word “bro” in them.

I’m more bothered by the ridiculously poor spelling and grammar of most photo comments than I am about the photos themselves, though.

For instance “lol brah u r cool” makes me want to suck off a shotgun every time I see it, or any variation thereof.

Hahaha, I so agree with the ‘lifting up the shirt to show abs’ pictures; and the mirror pictures too. Absolutely no originality.

Ugly cartoons and photoshopped images of politicians and celebrities meant to slur their reputation and support the poster’s claim that they are evil, wicked people. Stuff like Obama shown in a Nazi uniform with toothbrush mustache, or previously the same sort of stuff aimed at George Bush.

@ETpro, I have a personal policy where I either don’t add, or delete anyone that posts that variety of picture or cartoon… from either side of the spectrum. They are just trashy.

I know a girl who has over 3000 pictures on her Facebook. I would say 90% of them are of her and her friends in nightclubs so, regardless of the date they were taken, apart from a possible change of clothes, they are all the same!

I also despise pics of twenty-somethings getting drunk, beer pong, etc. Get a fuckin’ brain already!
