Deepiest?

I don’t like deep dives, but then I’m fairly novice.

It’s been said that most of the best things to see underwater are somewhere around the 30 to 40 foot depth, and that’s where most of my experience is. There was a diving pool I used to go in that went down to 50 feet, but that was more for underwater playtime (playing toss and such) than real scuba.

In my advanced course, we did a dive down to 100 feet, but it was more to get a feel for what it was like, than to explore. It was cold and I think a few people were feeling the effects of nitrogen narcosis. It was neat to look up and see the surface so far above my head, but I can’t image consistently reaching that depth without a dang good reason.
