Why doesn't my lurve always add up?

Why doesn’t my Lurve total number equal up to the amount of ”+5” etc. that I am getting? For example, if I notice in the morning my lurve was 5000 and I get 3 “Good Answers” that day, it doesn’t always equal 5000 (original number) + 15 (# of Good Answers, in this case 3). It may be 5010 instead of 5015. Trying to give an easy example… someone please clear it up!

Other users have already reached their limit of lurve for you. It still shows up on the comment/answer, but your total does not change.

Would you also know why I haven’t gotten my Mariner award for 5k lurve? I was so proud of it, but they forgot my award :(

@YARNLADY is correct about the lurve. Each person can only give you so much, and then it doesn’t count toward your total points.

Sorry about your award… there’s a bug in the awards system right now. We’re working on it, but it’s taking a while to fix.
