What do you think the sequel to District 9 will be called and be about?
District 9 is a fantastic movie and I’ve heard that there will be a second one, possibly called District 10. What do you think it will be about? I’ve heard that it will come out this year and be unpredictable like the first one!! So, what do you think it will be about?

Well first off, it probably won’t be coming out this year, or next for that matter. Neill Blomkamp has another project he’s working on coming out in 2012 I think, that’s not the sequel.

But, I think a sequel is very likely. The first one did well, and audiences want to see Christopher Johnson come back and cure Wikus. I think that’s the most likely premise of the potential sequel.

Apparently I’m one of the few that really didn’t like District 9.
There’s some commentary here about the possible story line.
Prawns Provencal. This time they go to France, pretend to be tourists.
seriously, the aliens would have to come back, and the only reasons to do so would be
1) rescue any survivors, or
2) attack with their superior weaponry.
I really hated that movie, so I hope it is about 2 minutes long.
District 10 of course, duh!
Maybe it could be called “Embarassment to all the deserving films ever nominated for Best Picture part 2” or “District 10: We still don’t have a tripod”...
Worst thing to happen in Africa since apartheid. I shoulda waited for it to come out on video and then not rented it…
