Movie mentioned in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen?

I was just watching Transformers Revenge of the Fallen for the hell of it. Right before the big battle scene, the guy from Sector 7, the kid from college, and the RC twins are all together and they’re being suurrounded. The sector 7 guy mentions that he feels like he’s right in the middle of a movie that has Kirk Douglas in it. I couldn’t understand what movie he said it was though. All I want to know is what movie it was.
