Am I an oddball for not wanting the snow to melt?

A thaw is coming to the Midwest soon and the weather forecasters are telling everyone to do the happy dance.

Why do I feel like I’m the only person not wanting to dance? It’s going to be a muddy mess having 2 feet of snow melt. I’d rather look at the beauty of the snow and play in it.

I am looking forward to spring, but I like to enjoy each season. Winter isn’t over yet. Am I an oddball to feel this way? :/
