Who is your favorite comedian?

Asked by Ladymia69 (6881points) February 8th, 2011

I know it’s been asked before…but not since i have been here. Comedy is like lifeblood to me…I am a huge fan of Louis CK, Mitch Hedberg, and Bill Hicks. Smaller awards would go to George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Aziz Ansari, Sarah Silverman, Stephen Wright, Dav Davidoff, and many others.

Who makes you laugh hard enough to pee yourself? And feel free to link clips of your favorite bits, please!

I love all of those 4 guys from the Blue Collar Comedy tour, but I especially like Bill Engvall.

I also like Tim Conway and the whole gang from the Carol Burnett Show, especially this clip

The guys from the Big Bang Theory, although not stand up comedians, are so hilarious that I laugh until I cry.

And I always enjoyed the banter that went on between Niles and Frasier Crane (David Hyde Pierce and Kelsey Grammer)

Of the old timers, I think Laurel and Hardy can’t be beat.

I’ve always enjoyed Mark Russell’s piano playing political humor. He’s gentle, but he skewers everyone from the left to the right.

And I always thought Ellen Degeneres was extremely funny, while talking about ordinary things and situations, with a self deprecating demeanor.
