What are some active websites for the discussion of making music?

I’m having some trouble finding people to ask about the software required for making music. I’m getting a new computer soon so I figured now might be the time to do some research. But I have questions about music pretty often so any community I could fall back on might be nice.

You can try KVR (http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/), there is alot of discussion there about equipment, software, virtual instruments, production and the like. I use FL Studio, but I’m not sure of your requirements.
