I am in need of a menu for a housewarming party.

I loves me some food, let’s just be frank here. And I have probably no less than a zillion and one ideas for things I could serve to the guests at my party.

I have a bunch of specialty dishes, but they’re mostly dinner ideas. This isn’t a sit-down deal.

I feel like appetizers aren’t enough on their own, but a full meal is unreasonable. I’m also not really up for the typical pigs-in-blanket apps either. I’m looking for something just a bit different. I already plan to make these, but other than that, I’m a little stumped.

I also don’t want to just do the chips/dip route.

I’m not used to entertaining, and I really want to be somewhat original. Help?

Edit: I forgot to add that one of our friends is planning on coming early and making her famous empenadas (sp) and another is most likely making fried rice, so those are definites.
