Why is there wars?

money and power is the answer. Very vague question and poor wording.

Ther is wars because of the way you word your sentances. Or atleast I see that becoming an war here in a moment :p

War is an ultimate act of conflict and conflict was explained to me as:

Conflict is the process that begins when one person perceives that another person has negatively affected, or is about to negatively affect, something that the person, group or organisation cares about.

In other words, it starts when someone thinks someone disagrees with them…....

Well war is just the advanced version of that, e.g. Hitler.

War is an extention of national policy. It wasn’t until the 20th century that war was viewed as such a heinous thing. Throughout mankind’s history, it has been viewed as simply an unavoidable consequence of interactions between nations with varied and sometimes conflicting interests.

Because people forget that we have the ability to communicate, to understand, to debate, to come to terms, to educate, to learn, to speak and to listen….We forget that we are not like animals, we love, we care, we feel….that its easier to hate, to hurt, to kill…than to forgive or to agree. People are selfish and evil… We all want what we cant have because we all want to be better than each other. Everyone wants to be treated with respect but nobody wants to respect others…I’m not saying we are all like this..Some of us are a lot stronger than others. Some of us are willing to admit when we’re wrong, we learn to accept the new and to learn for the better….But as much as we hate to admit, we stay quiet and watch while the hatred of others kill and destroy. We don’t agree with what they do, but we turn the other cheek to avoid the truth…if Its not affecting your life…it doesn’t exist..If war was truly a big concern to us all….we would of resolved it already.
