Is there a way to access old tweets made to a specific hashtag?

I want to find tweets made to a specific # since just before Christmas. Is there an app or something I can use to gather these tweets? I have done a google search but nothing seems to collect all the tweets? I want the tweets to carry out some research. Is it possible one of the Fluther developers who now work for Twitter would have this information and how or who should I contact to find out how to access archived tweets?

Twitter Search only goes back 30 days. But see if this article is helpful to you. It explains how to set up an archive using Google Reader.

Have you tried twapperkeeper.com to see if an archive exists for that hashtag?

Hi Bill. Thanks for your response. I found twapperkeeper.com last night and there is an archive so I am checking that out at the moment. Thank you for your help. I need to go back to mid-December 2010. Cheers.
