I won my choice of any iPad/iPhone app! What should I choose? What would you choose?

Asked by Dog (25152points) March 3rd, 2011

I won my choice of apps by fairly accurately guessing the configuration of the iPad2.

So I am totally beside myself trying to figure out what app I want.

Last month I already bought Navagon USA which I adore because it is a fully functioning GPS without a data plan or wifi so that one is out.

What is your dream app?
Why do you like it?
What is on your iDevice front page?

Although best suited for the iPad, the app Brushes has always had my attention. It’s $4.99 for iPhone & $7.99 for iPad. I haven’t bought it yet, but I can see losing myself for hours, just ‘painting’ away with my fingers without having to wash out the acrylic from under my fingernails when I’am done.

Sims 3 would be a nice game to have on the go. That is only $6.99.

Zen Bound 2 is a favorite of mine. It is only $2.99.

If you are looking to get an app that will make them loathe you, then get the iVIP app. It has a price tag of $999.99. :D

@RareDenver Ha ha ha! No way! This is the chance of a lifetime!

@rpm_pseud0name I have Brushes- I made this sketch on it. (It cuts off before it is done but you get an idea of how fun it is.)

Sims- cool! I could afford that so I may get it myself as well as Zen Bound 2— Awesome picks!

The place will get the code free from the developers so price is no object here… speaking of which does that VIP app come with a living Butler? :D

Take a look at the productivity apps from The Omni Group and see if anything strikes your fancy (although you may want to research a little to determine whether you’re going to need the companion app for your Mac—assuming you have a Mac). Their apps are never sold at a discount.

If you can finagle your prize into a device-and-app combo, you might also consider getting a WakeMate.

If you’re into meditation, Equanimity is also pretty cool.

If you haven’t got the app yet, or are maybe looking for some other titles to buy on your own, I highly recommend World of Goo
