What show do you prefer - American Dad, or Family Guy?

Family Guy hands down.

I am more of a reader, I really do not like either show.

Lately, I prefer American Dad. In comparison with the older episodes of Family Guy, Family Guy is better, yes. But there have been some truly awful episodes recently. I’ve never really felt that way about American Dad. Family Guy’s newer episodes seem to be mainly either really good or really bad, whereas American Dad is sort of in the middle. But American Dad has the absence of the cutaways and other things that make Family Guy annoying sometimes.

The Simpsons is still better than both of those shows combined, however (excluding the newest episodes). :P

I prefer Family Guy, but I’ll watch both of them.

Family Guy is played out, but American Dad is consistently funny. I much prefer American Dad. C’mon, who can compete with Roger?

I prefer American Dad. Hands down. Family Guy kind of annoys me because it can get somewhat stupid at times. But American Dad is absolutely hilarious. Roger and Klaus are my favorites on that show :)

I would say that depends on what seasons of each show we’re talking about. I find Seth MacFarlane funny in general, and each show has it’s own moments.

Family Guy easily. American dad is a good, funny show, and it has actually gotten better lately where as a year ago I thought the jokes were stupid and I just wouldn’t watch it. Family guy on the other hand is great, always been great, always will be.

American Dad has been a little better than Family Guy lately, IMO. Both are great shows tho.

Ehhh…they’re both okay, I guess. They’re not hysterically funny, but they’re not bad shows either. I’d give them like 60–70%.
