Everything on this Earth is so cyclical…from revolution to prosperity to taking advantage of people and the environment…and every generation has people who recognize this and people who don’t…I often wonder why we even the ability to see what’s truly happening and so sometimes I pretend (and there are new-age-y religions out there who say the same) that we are here to witness the good and the bad and to remember so that when we’re moved up to a higher frequence/consciousness, we will not go through it all again.
In 5,000 years, man will still exist on Earth, just as today. They will be predicting their doom to be just around the corner, just as today.
Instead of cars, we will be launched out of cannons to wherever we need to go. We will land with our parachutes deployed and into a pile of giant foam pieces.
Instead of us searching with Google, Google will search us. Causing an outcry greater than the use of full-body scanners.
I could answer with a few serious thoughts but here is my take on the weird kind…
teleportation, levitation, telepathy,
And for relaxation- giant cloud size beanbags equipped with fave tunes on mega speakers, munchy tray and drinks dispenser floating gently through the skies in endless time….
And for work- making munchies and beanbags! :p

Within 20 years the Earth will be cleansed with fire and it will become smooth like glass and you will be able to view it like we do a crystal ball. You will see the past present and future all at once. Time will not exist and with a thought you will be where you want to be. We will visit other beings on other planets and hide in the clouds and watch them progress and we get to scare them once in a while. LOL We will genetically help create other beings to live on unpopulated worlds and then let them go and watch them. We will fly within our own atmostphere and enjoy practicing that often.When you read or learn it will be with every single cell in your body because the cells will all be aware.
Life is fun and enjoyable so lets just enjoy what we can now. GRIN

my weird view for the future :
It would be possible for humans and animals to procreate…
thus we will have werewolves,anubises and centaurs (amongst others) running around all over the place, just like in the movies ; )
and don’t tell me, my vision is weird,, i know…
@erichw1504 probably yes, and probably the most weird as it’s less likely to happen in my opinion. everything else is probable.
People will soon have entire relationships by texting including marriage in which they will never meet in person.
We still have billions of years ahead of us, we should slow down.

My thought – more computers do jobs, fewer people needed to do jobs. What will carbon-based life forms do?

When the planet decides to do another white wash with extra snow. (or a vast waste)
The internet is going to become uncool. It will obviously still be around, but a large segment of the population is going to get sick of staring at screens all day. It will be the new counter-culture to be anti-internet. I think this will start happening in 5–15 years.

So nobody thinks the earth is going to go through another cycle? Even though climates are changing and polar caps are changing, solar flares are more active. No one thinks it’s going to effect anything?
The Earth is going to change completely and it will begin its new evolved existance.
That none of us will be in it. How will they manage?

No unfortunately those that are not ready will stay on the Earth while it is cleansed.

No what will happen will. Life is as it should be and all is where it is supposed to be. We make our lifes what they are and are the creators of it. You know you are not afraid and you are pulling my leg but that is okay. I also know that most do not believe what I say anyway. But I am committed to spreading knowledge where ever I can and I learn and want to hear from others as well. We all share in what is called life and we are all related that way.
Requiring frequent updates for our brain chip firewalls when communicating “telepathically” with other people. Nobody likes to get his or her brain hacked.
Suppose you’re flirting telepathically. Then your brain encounters are mental popup window saying: “Keyboard not present, press any key”.
