Can you tell someone how to get their “mojo” back?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) March 29th, 2011

When a person goes through a long bad patch and mishaps and bad luck seem to dog them at every turn how do you tell someone how to get their mojo back? Or does when one losses their mojo they just keep descending in to an emotional abyss to the point they start doing destructive activities and acts like drugs, drinking, cutting, purging, starving themselves, etc? When a person ever lost their mojo are they the only ones that can get it back or find it again? Have you ever lost yours and if so what did you do to get it back?

Mojo is your inner joss. Only the person can get it back.

I have lost mine in the past.
I got it back by believing in myself again.
You can’t do that for someone else, but you can be supportive of the person so that it might be easier for them.

I don’t associate losing one’s mojo with a string of bad luck.
