The English Patient
it doesn’t have to have come out in the last year, right? In that case, Inception..

jonsblond's avatar

@ddude1116 No. The movie I listed was made in 2009. =)

Day 1 – Another one for the The King’s Speech

@jonsblond: I actually own The Road. I think it’s one of Viggo Mortensen’s best pieces of acting.

creative1's avatar

Day 1 The only movie I went to see last year that I liked was The Back Up Plan, I really didn’t see many movies last year unless they were for kids.

Did not see Inception or The King’s Speech, I guess I will see them this year.

jonsblond's avatar

@KatawaGrey I agree with you. I can’t remember what movie channel has been playing it, but I watch it every time it comes on. and I always tear up at the end.

Joker94's avatar

Day 1 – True Grit

MacBean's avatar

Day 01. This is hard. I watched 166 movies in 2010, and 30 so far in 2011. A lot of them were really good… The last time I did this meme, I picked District 9 for this, so I’m going to discount everything on the list before that. So I choose…

A Single Man (2009)
.
Some runners up, because I really can’t limit myself to one, with so many to choose from (and with so many of them Academy Award nominees…):
Hawking (2004)
The Fighter (2010)
The King’s Speech (2010)
How to Train Your Dragon (2010)
The Illusionist (2010)

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 2 – The Waterdance

I thought it was moving yet not maudlin, given the condition of the lead character. He’s not a saint.

Ladymia69's avatar

ddude1116's avatar

@tranquilsea very few people have tolerance for four hour dramas, I guess…

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 6 – The Girl Most Likely To… 1973, written by Joan Rivers and starring Stockard Channing and Ed Asner.

ucme's avatar

6: Roots. Okay, not a movie in the strictest sense but hey, good enough in my book.

GoJessGo's avatar

Day 6: Lonesome Dove (I know it’s a mini-series but it’s the best!)

Day 8: Inglourious Basterds and Sweeney Todd, they’re pretty much tied in terms of times I’ve seen them.. And they’re just the recent ones.

ucme's avatar

8: The Great Escape. I know most of the script by now & still find myself hoping Steve Mcqueen escapes those pesky nazis.

MacBean's avatar

I watch just about everything I like multiple times. Since my goal is not to repeat any answers for the whole thirty days, my Day 8 answer is The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).

Day 9 Transformers again. You don’t even need to watch the movie to enjoy and appreciate the epic score.
Also, Funny Girl

Joker94's avatar

Day 9 – Garden State and Watchmen

jonsblond's avatar

Day 9— John Carpenter’s The Thing. I could easily pick Zombieland or O Brother Where Art Thou, music that I would sit and listen to without watching the films, but I thought I would pick a soundtrack that I feel really made a film. I don’t think The Thing would have been as scary as it was without Ennio Morricone’s original soundtrack. That music gives me chills!

ucme's avatar

10: Some Like It Hot…..nobody’s perfect.

Day 11 Don’t have one

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 11 – I can’t think of one.

MacBean's avatar

Day 11. Good Night, and Good Luck (2005) changed my opinion about George Clooney. Before this movie, I was not a fan. I thought he was overrated as an actor and I didn’t think he was that cute, either. But then I saw Good Night, and Good Luck and it all clicked. I jumped aboard the bandwagon and I’m never gettin’ off.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 11 – The Time Machine. It made me want to become a vegetarian. :)

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 11: Hmm…I can’t think of one.

11: Sex & the City….I never imagined a horse could act so badly.

.
I feel this way about a lot of comedy, really. I suspect there will be several people who give answers for Day 25 that I considered for today.

ucme's avatar

12: High School Musical…..Arrrrrrggghhhh!!! If only mass homicide were allowed in extreme cases.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 12 – Gone With The Wind

creative1's avatar

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 12 – TRANSFORMERS.

Jude's avatar

Day 12 – Twilight

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 12 The Harry Potter franchise

Joker94's avatar

Day 12 – I dunno about hate, but I didn’t care much for Miss March

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 12: Hmm… Tim Burton’s Planet of The Apes.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 10— North By Northwest (@tinyfaery Good question about what is considered a classic. I’ve heard movies from the 80s called classics lately. Makes me feel old now.) :/

Day 11— can’t think of one

Day 12— There are many movies I didn’t like. I’ll go with the most recent I’ve seen. I watched Skyline last night. What a waste of time. That movie was awful.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 12 – OH GOD…95% of them? But as comes to mind…any movies starring Kate Hudson, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, or Meg Ryan, to start.

ddude1116's avatar

Day 11: uhm, The Matrix..? yeah, that works.

Day 12: A Single Man. All because of the ending, the rest of the movie was perfectly alright.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 13 – Singles

ddude1116's avatar

Day 13: The Big Lebowski

GoJessGo's avatar

Day 11: Shutter Island changed my mind about Leonardo DiCaprio. He really CAN act despite his appearance in…..

Day 12: ...Titanic which I hate with a fiery burning passion.

Day 13: Boogie Nights is my guilty pleasure. It’s so naughty!

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 13 – The Twilight movies. Yes. All of them.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 13 – The Transporter.

It’s Jason Statham, what can I say?

ucme's avatar

13: Ghost. I should hate everything about that movie, gooey love story….Demi….cheesy music….but I love it man. Yes I tear up a little at the end, so what?

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 13: Any romantic comedy with Hugh Grant.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 13: I’m going with Twilight also @KatawaGrey :) I only watched it because my daughter wanted me to watch it with her, but I really enjoyed it. I liked it more for the love story though. Definitely not in my top 10 for vampire films.

Joker94's avatar

Day 13 – Definitely, Maybe

ddude1116's avatar

Love Actually

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 14: Hmm… Blade

Really, I’ll watch just about anything with vampires in it.

KatawaGrey's avatar

But Buffy could totally kick Blade’s ass.

tinyfaery's avatar

—They’d be on the same side, but HELL YEAH she could.

MacBean's avatar

Day 14. Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004). I am the comedy snob and this is not at all my style. But I can watch it over and over like a toddler with a Disney movie, and it never gets old.

Joker94's avatar

Day 14 – Enchanted

jonsblond's avatar

Day 14: Burlesque

ucme's avatar

15: Ace Ventura. I wuv fwuffy cweatures & i’m a bit of a mad tw@

MacBean's avatar

Day 15. ”Charlie Brown is a lovable loser, a child possessed of endless determination and hope, but who is ultimately dominated by his insecurities and a ‘permanent case of bad luck,’ and often taken advantage of by his peers. He also has a sense of reality about him, usually making comments of sad realization to the sarcastic jibes or using quick-witted remarks to point out the often ridiculous actions and bad luck he often has.”

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 15: I can’t think of anything.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 15 – Hermione Granger Growing up, I was definitely a teacher’s pet and my own social awkwardness kept me from having too many friends. Now, interestingly enough, my social awkwardness means I have more friends than I know what to do with!

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 15 – Abby Barnes from The Truth About Cats and Dogs. Where’s my Ben Chaplin?

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

Day 15 -I’ll take Atticus Finch ;)

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 16 High School Musical

ucme's avatar

16: Replaces the word hate with “find boring”. Jaws/Star Wars

MacBean's avatar

Day 16. “Hate” is a strong word but I think Donnie Darko (2001) is the movie about which my opinion has changed the most in that direction.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 16: I agree, hate is a strong word. I watched Suburbia religiously as a young teen when I discovered Flea and the punk scene. I tried watching this movie again maybe 10 years ago and I didn’t find it as interesting as I did when I was younger. I turned the movie off half-way through.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 16 – I have wracked my brains and I cannot think of a movie that I used to love that I hate now, but when I first saw Speed, I thought it was awesome, but now it holds zero interest for me.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 16 – Natural Born Killers

Ladymia69's avatar

@jonsblond Suburbia (1983) or SubUrbia (1996)?

jonsblond's avatar

@ladymia69 The movie made in 1983. Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers was in it. I haven’t seen the other movie you mentioned.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 16 – The closest I can come to is Breaking The Waves, directed by Lars von Trier. I don’t hate it, but I’ve given it the hairy eyeball.

I was originally quite awed with the “rawness” of Emily Watson’s character. Now that’I’m older, I think von Trier’ “breakthrough” work is just an upscale, art film, Dogma ‘95 version of a Lifetime movie with an indie pop soundtrack. All his lead women characters are in jeopardy, come to bad ends and can never find any way to save themselves from their horrible fates. Bleah.

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 16: I can’t think of anything.

GoJessGo's avatar

Day 14: JAWS People are always shocked to discover how much I love that movie!

Day 15: Grace from the 1989 movie “Baby Face” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Cakes_(film)

Day 16: Fast Times at Ridgemont High

ddude1116's avatar

Day 16: Harry Potter

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

16. I can’t think of one!

ucme's avatar

17: Valkyrie…..I lapsed into a slumber on more than one occasion.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 17 – I got 4:

Fame. I wasn’t allowed to see it as a kid. When I finally did at 19, I thought it was corny, and the scene where the skeezoid assaults Coco seemed like it was dumped in from another movie.

Say Anything. All my friends to this day think that Lloyd Dobbler is a romantic hero, because when the movie came out, we were all 17 years old or thereabouts. I didn’t see it upon its release, but I did as an adult and found Dobbler to be a creepy, lazy, self-righteous stalker. And the girl was insipid.

Star Wars. I grew up in a poor household, and there was no money for going to the movies or buying a VCR, and due to a lot of previously spoken about shenanigans, I wasn’t allowed to visit friends, so I didn’t see Star Wars as a kid. I was 8 when the first one was released. As I got older, I wasn’t interested; it seemed nerdy. Then at 37, a friend said to me, “Look, you can’t go through life and not have seen this series,” so she got me DVDs of “4”, “5” and “6”. Meh.

Dirty Dancing. Another wish fulfillment movie released during my adolescence that I didn’t see until I was an adult and thought, Eh. I’ve seen better.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 17 A Series of Unfortunate Events
It was NOTHING like the movie. The actors were great, but the way they screwed up the plot was unforgivable. The movie was a terrible representation of the books.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

17.Atlas Shrugged :(

GoJessGo's avatar

DAY 17: Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. What a major, honking disappointment. What a major, honking waste of time and resources. What a major, honking waste of a good back story!

jonsblond's avatar

Day 17: same answer as @GoJessGo. I really looked forward to this movie thinking how great it could be with the resources available now for special effects. Didn’t help the movie at all. Major disappointment.

ddude1116's avatar

Day 17: The more recent Harry Potter films.

Joker94's avatar

Day 16 – I don’t have one..
Day 17 – Tron: Legacy. It’s not like it was bad, but there was so much that could’ve gone better…

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 17: Home Alone

Never see a movie after you hear all the hype.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 17 – I have to agree with @ddude1116. When my friend and I both huge Harryphiles saw the last movie, we walked out angry and griping like there was no tomorrow.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 17 – Sofia Coppola’s “Somewhere”. Boy, did it suck.

MacBean's avatar

Day 17. Brokeback Mountain (2005). Everyone I knew talked about how it made them sob but I was utterly unmoved by story, characters, setting, music … everything.
.
And wow at people being disappointed by the later HP movies. I find the first two cringe-worthy, and then they start getting better.

tinyfaery's avatar

@MacBean When Heath hugs the shirts? Come on? Nothing?

MacBean's avatar

@tinyfaery Not a thing. The thing that made me saddest about the movie was it didn’t make me sad. I felt soulless. XD

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

18. I really can’t think of any… :)

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 18 – Head. I love this movie, crazy as it is.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 18: Escanaba in da Moonlight It’s a film written and directed by Jeff Daniels. I find this movie hilarious. It’s a movie you’ll either love or hate. I loved it.

Day 18 – Titan AE. It’s a really awesome, super underrated sci-fi animated film.

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 18: Marie Antoinette

Joker94's avatar

Day 18 – Zack & Miri Make a Porno

KatawaGrey's avatar

@Joker94: Oh man, I thought @YARNLADY actually liked that movie and I had to do a double take. :) Btw, I love that movie.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 19: Popeye This was one of the first movies I saw in the movie theater. It holds a special place in my heart.

@KatawaGrey nice catch :D

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

19.To Kill A Mockingbird

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 19 – Sense & Sensibility (the Emma Thompson version from 1995)

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 19 – The whole LOTR trilogy. I abhor the books but the movies are amazing.

Joker94's avatar

@KatawaGrey LOL! Sorry for the confusionXD
Day 19 – No Country for Old Men

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 19: Sin City

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 19 Batman Begins, because all other movies just f*ck up the books

ddude1116's avatar

Day 19: uhm… shit… Gone With The Wind

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

Day 20— Robert Shaw in Jaws. I don’t really have a favorite actor but I would like to kidnap him. That should count for something :)

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 20 – Michael Palin as Jack Lint in Brazil. How can such a sweetheart do such awful, terrible things?

Joker94's avatar

Day 20 – Johnny Depp in Donnie Brasco

ddude1116's avatar

Day 20: Marlon Brando in On the Waterfront

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 20 – Bill Nighy in “Love, Actually.” The movie’s not my favorite but Billy Mack is my favorite Bill Nighy character.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 20 Will Smith in Independence Day

MacBean's avatar

Day 20. Besieged (1998). David Thewlis is my favorite actor.

tinyfaery's avatar

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 19: Art School Confidential
also…...Ghost World

Day 20: The Ballad of Jack and Rose
also…....The Book of Stars (I am a big fan of Jena Malone)

@KatawaGray I just rewatched Teeth yesterday and forgot how hilarious it was! Nice to know someone else appreciates that flick!

jonsblond's avatar

Day 20: Robert Downey Jr. in Less Than Zero (so happy he turned his life around and didn’t go in the same direction as Sheen.)

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 21 Transformers

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 21 – Return of the Jedi.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 21: Terminator 2

ucme's avatar

20: Clint “flat foot” Eastwood in Thunderbolt & Lightfoot

Day 20: Hmm…I really like Blade.

jonsblond's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille and @tinyfaery, I love both those movies =)

ddude1116's avatar

Day 21: The Matrix

Ladymia69's avatar

I hate action movies as a rule

But if I have to pick one…

Day 21: Scarface

Joker94's avatar

Day 21 – The Dark Knight

ucme's avatar

22: Borat….more of a mockumentary, but works for me.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 22 Supersize Me

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

22.Supersize Me was interesting.

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 22: Germs, Guns and Steel. It’s the most educational documentary I’ve ever seen.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 22 – I don’t watch many documentaries so this is kind of a stretch for me. I actually do like An Inconvenient Truth though I had no interest in it before I had to watch it in a couple of my classes.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 22 – Soooo many, but I love:
The Weather Underground
The Devil’s Playground (about the Rumspringa of Amish teenagers)

Joker94's avatar

Day 22 – Super High Me, and the Union

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 21 – The Matrix
Day 22 – Ooh, tough one. There’s so many! The first one that popped in my mind is Standing in the Shadows of Motown about The Funk Brothers, which is the nickname of the session musicians during Motown’s heyday in the 1960s.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 23 Either Cars or Beauty and the Beast

jonsblond's avatar

Day 23— Snow White

ucme's avatar

23: Toss up between Finding Nemo/Toy Story/Despicable Me.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 23 – This is the hardest, by far. My favorite animations change by the day. I think the one that is on top the most is Monsters Inc. though. I think that movie has the bext scene in any movie: the scene in the door factory.

MacBean's avatar

Day 23. I wanted to list something pretentious and/or foreign and/or artsy-fartsy, but … if I’m honest, The Lion King (1994) is my favorite animated movie. It’s the one that got me into the technical side of movies and started me on the path to being the film geek I am now. Also, there are lions. And a meerkat in drag.

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 23: The Last Unicorn

jonsblond's avatar

@KatawaGrey Boo is the cutest little girl in animation. imo =)

Joker94's avatar

Day 23 – Very tough one to say But I’d say Up or The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 23 – Fantastic Planet
craziest shit ever, as if you can’t tell from this trailer

ddude1116's avatar

Day 23: Toy Story. That movie shined a light on my childhood, and it still does.

KatawaGrey's avatar

@ladymia69: I’ve actually seen Fantastic Planet. My mom has it on DVD. It’s pretty awesome.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 24 A Justice League movie (with real people)
That would be epic
They’re making Avengers, why not the JL?

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 24 – A movie of my favorite book, Sabriel. I’m hoping to write the script soon, actually, so maybe this one will become a reality.

Edit to add: Nevermind. Apparently the author is already in the process of writing a script. :(

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 24: Buffy the movie. Come on, Joss.

Joker94's avatar

Day 24 – A live-action adaptation of the Prydain Chronicles.

KatawaGrey's avatar

@tinyfaery: Right? I’ve heard rumors but I have a feeling they are just rumors. :(

jonsblond's avatar

Day 24— Can’t think of anything.

ucme's avatar

24: Live action/big sceen version of Wacky Races….bring it on!

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 24 – A movie, with tones of “Kill Bill” and “I Spit on your grave”, about a woman who hunts down and kills poachers on her own, for no one, and only because she feels it is right. This would make an excellent miniseries.

Of course, she would eventually get to the people who order the poachings and profit from them, and she would give them a taste of their own medicine.

MacBean's avatar

Day 24. It’s all been done. The only thing left is to find a spin people haven’t seen so many times that they’re sick of it already.
.
Day 25. Young Frankenstein (1974)

jonsblond's avatar

Day 25— Airplane! Though Young Frankenstein is a very close second. :D

Joker94's avatar

Day 25 – I think I’d have to say The Jerk

ucme's avatar

25: The Life of Brian…...“he’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy. Now, fuck off!!”

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 25 – This is very hard to say since most of my favorite movies are comedies. I’m going to have to go with “How To Train Your Dragon” though because it always makes me laugh really hard.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 23 – The Incredibles
Day 24 – Can’t tell you becuase I want to make this movie.
Day 25 – Laugh for laugh, it’s a tie between Blazing Saddles (Jim: [consoling Bart] What did you expect? ‘Welcome, sonny’? ‘Make yourself at home’? ‘Marry my daughter’? You’ve got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know… morons.”) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail (Patsy: It’s only a model.).

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 25: Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle makes me laugh, a lot.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 25 – That’s a hard one. I have to say Dumb and Dumber or The Jerk.

jonsblond's avatar

@tinyfaery I still haven’t seen that movie. :(

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 25 There are so many! I can’t choose

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 26 – Head by The Monkees,“written” by Bob Rafelson and Bert Schneider, with Jack Nicholson.
“Hey, hey we are The Monkees, we’ve said it all before: The money’s in, we’re made of tin and here to give you more!”

jonsblond's avatar

Day 26— Napoleon Dynamite (don’t hate) I actually didn’t like it the first time I watched it, but after watching it several more times with my sons and husband, it really grew on me.

MacBean's avatar

@jonsblond Everybody hates that movie? I thought I was alone. People I know love it and think I’m crazy.

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 26: Hmm… Pride & Prejudice—The Kiera Knightly version.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 26 – Sucker Punch.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 26 Everyone seemed to hate Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, but I liked it

jonsblond's avatar

@MacBean at least everyone on Fluther hates it, or so it seems. Looks like I’m the crazy one here. ;)

Day 27 – Star Wars.

tranquilsea's avatar

Day 27 – I wasn’t born yet but I’m going to answer with Gone With The Winds anyway.

ucme's avatar

27: The original King Kong. That would have been nice, although listening to Fay Wray scream her knickers off, on a big screen, at close quarters, may have drove me apeshit!! I see what I did there!

jonsblond's avatar

Day 27— Wizard of Oz

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 27: I can’t think of one.

MacBean's avatar

Day 27. Iron Man (2008)

Day 27 – “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” It is Werner Herzog’s film about the caves of Lascaux and it is in 3-D! Imagie seeing all those primitive paintings in three dimensions!

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 28: Mulholland Drive.

ucme's avatar

28: Inglorious BasterdsQuentin Tarantino

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 28 Inception – Christopher Nolan

MacBean's avatar

Day 28. This is hard. There are a handful of directors that I love so much that I can’t pick a favorite. So I picked my favorite movie by each one, and then chose my favorite movie out of those. I came up with Guillermo del Toro’s The Devil’s Backbone (2001).

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 28 – Alien by Ridley Scott.

tranquilsea's avatar

Day 28 – Schindler’s List by Steven Spielberg

@tinyfaery I love Mulholland Drive

jonsblond's avatar

Day 28— Fargo by Joel Coen

Joker94's avatar

Day 28 – This will surprise no one Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 28— I echo the agony of the hardness of this question….

I will just say the first thing that pops into my mind.

“Barry Lyndon” by Stanley Kubrick.

KatawaGrey's avatar

I would just like to say that my actual favorite movie by my actual favorite director is also my favorite movie of all time so I wanted to save that for the last day. I gave my next favorite director and the favorite movie of his. :)

aprilsimnel's avatar

A Mighty Wind, directed by Christopher Guest.

jonsblond's avatar

Day 29— Annie. I was 11 when this movie came out and I watched it in the theater. I went with my best friend just before she was going to move to Utah. I loved the movie, and it holds a special place in my heart. I was also a big fan of Carol Burnett at the time since my parents liked to watch her show on television.

MacBean's avatar

Day 29. The Last Unicorn (1982). To this day I can watch it over and over and over and over without ever tiring of it.

aprilsimnel's avatar

Ralph Bakshi’s version of The Hobbit. I saw it on TV. I might have to find a DVD and see how I feel about it now.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

Day 29 Lilo & Stitch

tranquilsea's avatar

Day 29 – Close Encounters of the Third Kind

Ladymia69's avatar

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 29 – The Little Mermaid

Joker94's avatar

Day 29 – Beetlejuice

aprilsimnel's avatar

Day 30 already!

I think my favourite movie of all time is Singin’ In The Rain. I can watch it over and over again, and have.

KatawaGrey's avatar

Day 30 – Okay, here it is, the act you’ve all been waiting for… 28 Days Later! Woooo!

@aprilsimnel: Singin’ in the rain is pretty stupendous.

Joker94's avatar

Day 30 – Wow…this is really tough :/ I think that I’d have to say my favorite (as of right now) is Memento!

jonsblond's avatar

Day 30— Young Frankenstein

Ladymia69's avatar

Day 30 – TOO HARD!

tinyfaery's avatar

Day 30: No answer.

MacBean's avatar

Day 30. When forced to choose just one movie as my favorite, I always pick Amélie (2001).

KatawaGrey's avatar

@Joker94: I just watched that. It is an excellent movie.

Joker94's avatar

@KatawaGrey I’m glad you liked it :] Did the ending blow your mind?

ucme's avatar

30: .......is an accolade which is shared amongst many.

ddude1116's avatar

shit, I’ve got some catching up to do..
Day 22: Taxi To the Dark Side
Day 24: A war film that doesn’t focus at all on warfare. For instance, a Vietnam war movie that’s just about a platoon trekking through the woods and talking to each other.
Day 25: Modern Times.. I think…
Day 26: I don’t know much outside how it bombed at release, but New York, New York
Day 27: I don’t dig movie theaters…
Day 28: Taxi Driver
Day 29: Aladdin
Day 30: 2001: A Space Odyssey

jonsblond's avatar

@ladymia69 Thank you. It was fun. =)

KatawaGrey's avatar

You know, I’m not really a big fan of game threads, but this one was great. Once a day, you could come back and add a new answer and read others’ answers and the main feed wasn’t clogged up with a new game question every day and, quite frankly, I like that it was the few of us who saw it within the first few days. :)

Excellent question @jonsblond!
