Best resources for DIY projects, especially kitchen remodeling.

Asked by HudsonHero (245points) April 14th, 2011

I’ve done lots of little projects but want to start figuring out how much a kitchen remodel would cost. I am looking for a list resource that would help me outline all the things I should think about before starting the project. Anyone know of anything? Ideally an online site that would help me make sure I didn’t forget anything as I planned.

Check out the selection of DIY books that Lowes has near the front of the store. Pretty much every aspect of home improvement project has a volume there.

I haven’t found a best site, but the major home improvement sites are actually usefull, such as Home Depot and Lowes.

Here is a checklist. I did not read it all, but it looked pretty complete.

Here is another one which may help to determine extras.
