Eh? Either you are joking or that is much too complicated a recipe. Go to the food store; look at a package of chocolate chips in the baking section. Read one of the recipes on the back and get the ingredients from that.

Yes, the recipe includes chocolate chips, and chocolate covered peanut butter candies. Those were easy to find.

That is one weird recipe. Maybe you should try an easier recipe. I’ve never heard of a chocolate cake that needs whatever the heck ethylbenzine is.

Fish-shaped ethylbenzine all by itself is a dangerous carcinogen. However, in combination with rhubarb, the peptide groups of the ethylbenzine are denatured into harmless phenolic flavinoids with a pleasant vanilla aroma. So no, definitely DON’t leave out the rhubarb, unless you want to kiss your pancreas goodbye. Or you could just leave out both the ethylbbenzine and the rhubarb, and substitute a dash of vanilla.
