See ALL the royal wedding footage. This hat must be either from hell or from Fluther. Giant taupe tentacles curl up above the Hat and more hang down alongside. After one long take, in subsequent footage she was not in the picture. Close up on Queen who looked a little like she was cringing away from The Hat. Send me screen grabs, video links.

It was princess Beatrice. And yes she is a Hideous being, unfortunately for her she has her mothers hair and her fathers face and def no taste in fashion. Worry not the British press will make her pay for that disgusting hat ;-)

I’ve said, and I’ll keep on saying, that she’s probably the oddest looking creature that the royal family has turned out for quite some time. She’s quite the trashy party girl too.

I live in the UK. I’ve seen enough of the fashion most have to offer, and can say it is not actually much of a generalization.
@SofaKingWright I also live in the UK and am very PROUD to be British! We have turned out some amazing fabulous fashion designers, Alexander McQueen (had a huge hand in Cate’s dress today), Stella McCartney, John Galliano to name but a few. Please do not let the Primark generation distort your view on our fashion, we are not all trailer trash you know. And there is nothing wrong with REAL PROPER BRITISH fashion. It only takes one high profile royal to ruin our reputation!

@SofaKingWright So Galliano wants to sell more clothes, show me one celeb that hasn’t done something or said something completely out of turn. His designs are still amazing or he would not be famous for them and def wouldn’t sell anything. As for Miss Piggy (aka VB) errr yuk!!! Can’t class her as a true Brit anyway, she is in LA for the last few years hence that disgusting picture. Not to say that dress wouldn’t have looked better on anyone else!

@BeccaBoo, Since when was proclaiming a love for Hitler a new way to sell products? Wish I had thought of that one for Marketing class. In reference to VB… you can take the girl out of the trailer.. but you can’t take the trailer, errr, country, out of the girl.
Perhaps she sees herself as the British incarnation of Karnilla, Queen of Nornheim!
The mythological aspect of her hat prompts me to ask, has anyone who looked at her hat in person turned to stone? ;-)
@SofaKingWright Errrrrr press, attention, shock factor, name dropped, splashed everywhere, more web hits etc. God that’s not as bad as some of the things celebs have done. Prince Harry after 911 (don’t see you bringing that one up???)
And VB is hardly loved over here anymore is she? Lets try Sienna Miller or Kate Moss rather that going down the Cheryl Cole route. We do have far more sophisticated celebrities that know how to dress.

Look, let’s be real: You may not like the hat, but a woman who wears a hat like that in front of 1 billion people has way more balls and self-confidence than any of us ever will.

@chocolatechip Well, at the end of the day, they’re humans and put their pants on one leg at a time. Maybe they have an environment that forces them to develop it quickly, but they still have the same basic psychological setup as the rest of us. Plus, look at Diana, she was such a nervous wreck she developed an eating disorder.
@MyNewtBoobs She had an eating disorder before she ever became a royal. It just got worse.
