I grew up watching Norm MacDonald as the weekend update anchor and he is still my favourite.

“I’m Chevy Chase and you’re not” is a pretty awesome sign-off, though.

I loved the combination of Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers.

Amy Pohler and Tina Faye were my two favorites in that order.

For me it’s a tie between Norm McDonald and Amy Poehler with Tina Fey.

Brad Hall hosted my favorite “Saturday Night News” segments (it wasn’t called ‘Weekend Update, that year). It was around 1982. I liked his deadpan reading of the news (similar to Jane Curtain). And the clips and jokes and guests were funny that year.

I don’t like the audience pandering that began with Dennis Miller in 1985 and continued ever since I think.

I have a hard time deciding who I like. I loved Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey but Seth Myers always grabbed me as well.
