Can anyone recommend towns in Charles County, MD to buy a home, please?

Hello, our family (2 small children) will be relocating to Maryland as my husband recently accepted a job offer in D.C. We hear that Charles County is ‘up-and coming’ and is close to the part of D.C that he’ll be working in. Does anyone live in this county that can comment on good areas (towns/cities) to check out real estate? Thanks in advance!

My husband said Waldorf used to be a very nice town. But that was a few years ago.
