(NSFW) Females can experience multiples, but males cannot - why?

Asked by MyNewtBoobs (19059points) May 4th, 2011

Women can have multiple orgasms, why can’t men? What is specifically preventing men from having multiple orgasms? Is there anything that can be done to change that?

Well, I for one can & do…. ;-/
You must be dating the wrong men….. :-)

@Scooby So then do you ejaculate multiple times as well? And then where does this idea that men can’t cum multiple times come from?

No idea where “this idea” comes from but yes I’m gifted I guess :-/

It’s quality rather than quantity that counts, surely?

Men need to get their sperm going once. Adding more sperm behind those may not help. First sperm that gets to the egg wins.

Women may need to keep encouraging those sperm, or maybe need to keep encouraging their men, so the multiple orgasm excites the man and perhaps, physiologically, provides a kind of wave motion that carries the sperm towards their goal.

Just speculation.

I’ve never multipled, but I’ve come damn close!

Its not necessary. Men ejaculate once and do their job. Orgasms in females, uterine and vaginal contractions, encourage sperm upward toward their goal. The more times the better. Simultaneous orgasm, obviously, is the best for this but female orgasm still speeds preejaculate on its way.

Is there anyone else that saw this as ironic? God said, Here, I’ll give you cramps, bleeding, bloating, etc on a monthly basis but as a bone, I’ll throw in multiple O’s for you.

@Adirondackwannabe Women definitely will have menstruation and cramps, they only might have multiple orgasms.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

@MyNewtBoobs Women should have held out for at least a usually, or better always, instead of a might.

@Adirondackwannabe And I agree, but the idea that women’s orgasms are in any way important (much less not a great sin) is pretty recent. But all women throughout history have experienced menstruation/cramps.
