Could it be PowerPoint? I’m just learning PowerPoint myself, but you can do pretty amazing stuff with it…

I would use Adobe After Effects for this. Or Flash. They probably used Flash for this.

PowerPoint isn’t nearly powerful enough to create those kinds of graphics. I’d go with @ragingloli in saying it was Flash. I’m a Flash user myself, and that looks pretty typical of the imagery created with that program.

Oh, okay…I thought maybe I just hadn’t got to that part of the program yet, lol!

Agree with @ragingloli and @ParaParaYukiko – After Effects is a good option too. Both can do it. Check out : http://www.videocopilot.net/

It’s Flash. Could be done in any number of good Flash tools. See http://paulmayne.org/blog/2006/11/top-6-flash-development-tools/.

I was under the impression that the iPhone cannot handle (view) Flash and yet I was able to see that vid even tho I’m using iPhone?

Does this mean that Apple has finally enabled this (or partially so).

Could one of you super-smart techy guys clarify this ?

@Buttonstc The site is probably using browser sniffing to serve content appropriate for the user’s operating system.

Thanks for the explanation.

I wish there were more sites using that technique.

YouTube: Are you listening? How about catching up to other sites?

@Buttonstc Well, if you want to watch youtube videos on your iphone you should use the youtube app. It’s better/quicker/easier than in the browser anyway.

I do use the app but it’s functionality is limited.

For example, I can’t watch any of my subscriptions from the links that I receive in my email.

It’s annoying to have to go over to the app.

I also have lists of various types of music and on my computer I can have it autoplay an entire category without having to activate each vid separately.

The app only allows one list for bookmarked vids, no way to separate into categories and no auto play ability. Annoying.

I can’t imagine it would be that difficult to enable the same functionality as can be had on a computer. It’s ridiculous for them to put out an app so crippled in abilities.
