Who else had a "fun" week?

Asked by rock4ever (1866points) May 6th, 2011

These past two days have been insane! On Thursday my depressed friend told me about how sick he was of another kid. He said he was going to fight him. The kid he wants to fight is 3 times his size and he went on to say that if the kid knocks him down he’d pull out a knife and kill him! I kept my mouth shut and just gave him a speech on why he shouldn’t kill the kid. Just before he left he said to me if you tell anyone I don’t care that you’re a girl I will beat the shit out of you and I don’t remember but I think he said he’d kill me! So I said cross my heart hope to die… I told anyway. I went to the guidance councilor with another friend and we told him what was going on. Then I talked to the dean… in front of a table of my enemies who told the kid that I snitched. I honestly thought he’d kill me! No body even did anything! They just talked to the kid about it! Not even the cop that is at our school did anything. I could tell he was being serious about all of this and that he was willing and capable of doing what he said. The intensity in his eyes were more honest and scary than the look of any serial killer I’ve ever studied! He also tells us how his father was a killer and in a way saying he wants to follow his father’s legacy. Also I can relate to his mind set and situation because I’ve been there. If it wasn’t for being saved by my grandma I would have killed someone. So I perfectly know how capable he was.
No I don’t want help, the situation is solved. I just wanted to rant about it and see who thinks they can top those “fun” few days?

I really enjoyed this week. Went on a picnic with my friends and lazed about in the sun, stuffing ourselves with unhealthy food :P

I had a VERY “FUN” week. I have been studying my ARSE off and I took an English Exam on Wednesday and then again today I had an Icelandic exam; which I am really scared I will fail since I didn’t do very well… I felt like I hadn’t done very well but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

@rock4ever thank you.
And also I have another fun week coming up three more exams to take…

@nailpolishfanatic – Best of luck to you! I’ve heard that Icelandic is the toughest language to learn. You have my admiration for even trying! (Even if it’s a required school subject, I admire that you’re going to give it your best shot.

My week has had its ups and down. The downs being work related. I’m trying to “learn” a new manager and it’s not easy. And I burned 16 oatmeal raisin cookies. Then the lemon shortbread cookies spread like a hooker’s legs at the sight of cash. (We still don’t know why that happened.) I caught some grief because I turned the oven up to 300 to make the granola, which made me mad because I asked, “Should I turn it to 300?” and was told yes. Ugh. Those are the highlights of some of the week’s work aggravation.

On the good side, we had our 8th wedding anniversary on Wednesday and it was a nice one.

You all knew I was joking, right?
I had a test this morning which I stayed up all night for the previous night. Have another one coming next week and the week after that.
Then they’ll pick up again around mid June, lasting till the holidays.
Until then, 4 hours sleep a night it is.

My God @rock4ever, who the hell are you hanging around with? You’re only 14? I hope this was made up, otherwise watch out who you are hanging around with or you could find youself in a whole lot of trouble now or in a few years…look after youself.

rock4ever's avatar

Yeah I know I should probably hang around more stable people but I like extending my hand to people even if the only way they can except my help is by biting my hand. Just think if I didn’t hang around these kind of people then someone in my school would be dead on Monday or Friday (the day he planned to fight and likely kill the kid).
And yes I’m 14 and no part of the story is made up!
I know to watch out and to be careful, but once I heard the news that he wanted to kill the kid I wasn’t just going to let things run it’s course and hope for the best. I had to take action. Thanks for your concern. (:

People these days are just plain out insane!

He’s not going to come after you is he?

rock4ever's avatar

I don’t think so. I talked to him today and he seemed pissed off but not dangerous. Oh well if he tries something I know a great non-lethal pressure point on a person’s arm that can paralyze them momentarily with pain! I tested it not even with much pressure and they were whimpering like a lost puppy.
This may seem a little twisted and demented but I think we’re still friends and I still want to be his friend…

@Blackberry I don’t want to laugh at your miseries and woes, but goddamn your answer was fucking funny. :D

My week wasn’t fun. I woke up on Wednesday morning and was so…fucking TIRED that I would have gladly given up anything just for ten more minutes. I mean seriously, I just can’t explain it, it felt like I slept for three minutes while getting raped by wasps. Somehow, I made it through the day.
Someone at school also decided they didn’t like me anymore. We got along damn fine for months, and now, all of a sudden, she won’t speak to me anymore. So that sucks. Also, overdue bills. This week sucks.

However, today was actually pretty awesome, and I’m gonna take it for what it is.

My week started out in a hellacious way…and ended up on a great note!! Amazing what little things in life can do to make it all worth while!

@tedibear Yes it is! But I have been doing well ;) and thank you.

And congratulations on your wedding anniversary.
