Is there any way in the world that I can play Dino Park?

Asked by deni (23141points) May 15th, 2011

I think anyone around my age (20–23, maybe younger or older?) played Dino Park in elementary school on the super ancient computers. Now, 15 years later, I really wanna play it. I loved that game. It is, after all, the bomb. But I just can’t figure out how. I figured before I gave up, I’d ask here. I think the whole problem is that it’s on the MS DOS operating system, right? I’m not super tech savvy….but please help me. I have a Macbook, which probably makes things more complicated, right?

Also, the game Odell Down Under. I’d love to play that too.

I had the same problem with the incredible machine, I still need to get it. As for being on a mac, not good, you might be able to run it in the compatibility mode I hear of, or isntlall XP on virtualbox or another virtual OS and play it on that.

I think to load up an MS DOS emulator you need to be running a windows OS, such as 98, 00, vista or 7. This CAN be done with a mac however I don’t know much more than that. My girlfriend figured out how to play some old PC and Playstation games on her Macbook Pro, just try a smart google search on that matter. Good luck! Retro gaming can be very fun.
