Where should I go, and what should I do for the next few days?

Asked by sunyata_rakshasa (350points) May 17th, 2011

Im living Big I Hawaii, and the farm i was staying at is having some renovations and such for the next few days, and so I had to leave.

Normally this wouldn’t be such a big deal, but the only other friends I have on the island, are having their parents over this week, so…

Long story short, Im stuck with no place to go and nothing to do, and am ready for the fun suggestions to roll in.

P.s. hostels are out of the question Im broke, got food money and thats it.

I remember my mother saying she went that she was amazed that you can camp free in Hawaii as long as you get a permit, I would check that out as a possible option.

I don’t quite understand what you are looking for. Do you need a free place to stay over night? Or do you just want ideas on what kinds of fun things you could do during the day time?

sunyata_rakshasa's avatar

both , but more importantly a place to stay

@sunyata_rakshasa What island are you on? I’m guessing that you can’t leave your island because of the lack of money too, right?

You could check this group for couch surfing in Hawaii. The site’s a pain in the ass to navigate but it is a good source for free lodging.
