Is there any way I can set up a turbo button on a normal keyboard?

so I want a program that will allow me to press one key on my keyboard and have it press a predetermined set of keys so pressing 1 will spell out because.

not sure if turbo button is the right phrase

The word you’re looking for is “macro”. Some keyboards (mainly those sold as gaming keyboards) are able to do this at a hardware level but there are programs that will let you do it on any keyboard for example AutoHotKey

I just downloaded a program called ControllerMate. I don’t know if it works on Windows. You can ether use it with a game controller, or your keyboard, as I understand it. It lets you do what you want and more. i used it to turn my joystick into a functioning mouse.
