What is this particular writing medium?

Asked by Carly (4555points) May 26th, 2011

I was watching A Beautiful Mind last night and I was wondering what the white writing utensil was that the main character was using to write on his glass windows. Is it some kind of chalk? wax?

here’s the trailer where it shows him using it.

Could be wax pencil like they use making Pysanky Easter Eggs

If the movie were modern, I’d probably go with @Lightlyseared‘s suggestion of a paint pen. But seeing as how it takes place in the 50s my guess is a grease pencil (also known as a China marker).
