Do you strive to use your 3 allotted Fluther questions?...

Asked by AmWiser (14947points) May 30th, 2011

Since Flutherites are allotted 3 questions a day (in a 24 hour period, I assume), do you strive to use your allotment of questions?
If no, whyy? don’t you ask more questions, or at least your allotment?

If yes, what’s the real reason you ask so many questions?

Bonus Question Would you like to somehow, someway be able to use another Jelly’s allottment if they are not using it?

Not really…I generally can’t think of three questions that are worth asking in a day though :I However, if I did use all my answers, I’d be more than willing to accept donations to the cause. :D

I ask questions when I feel curious or am in need of some help. I don’t exactly try to ask 3 questions a day, but I often do.
When I don’t, I guess it’s just the matter of not wanting to know anything. I think using another jelly’s allotment is a fantastic idea though, as there have been moments where I wanted to ask more than 3 questions in a day.

I don’t try to ask my 3 questions every day. If I think of something to ask, I ask. If I don’t, then I don’t ask anything. No big deal to me. I don’t really like the idea of using other people’s questions. I think the 3 question limit is pretty good to help keep the content on Fluther where it is.

Nope. Never. I wouldn’t even try.

I sure do, since we can’t store them up or roll them over I try to use at least two a day if not all three. I guess I wouldn’t use it that much if I knew I had more. It would be just because I could don’t mean I would, but since I have no choice it is either use it or lose it, so I try to use it.

Definitely not. I’ve been here years and am only at 75. When I first joined I asked some stupid, pointless questions that I wish I hadn’t. After I learned what Fluther was about and how annoying it was to see a bunch of terrible questions (personal preference, don’t jump down my throat) I stopped and reserved my questions for things I wanted to know or was curious about. Now, I don’t ask questions just for the sake of asking a question.

Honestly, if it were up to me we’d only be allowed one question per day. Aren’t you happy I don’t run Fluther?

I average less than three questions a month. Most of the questions I do ask are either things that I couldn’t find a precise answer to after a little googling or, (more likely) an attempt to start a discussion, which I only do when I am feeling sociable (in other words, rarely).

That’s just silly nonsense if you ask me.

How old are you if you need to ask Fluther 3 questions per day, 4? Or are you drunk? Seriously?

hahahahaha

I’m like @Seaofclouds in that I only ask when I have something to ask. I’m delighted that some Jellies ask their 3 per day, I’m fascinated by what goes on in their little coelenterate heads, but I don’t even ask 3 per week.

No, I never strive to use up all three and I’m fine with having that limit. If we were given any more it could get really annoying around here real fast.

crisw's avatar

No. I rarely ask questions.

I could have a lot of questions to ask in a day but I only ask the most important/worthy question on fluther. I have no problem with 3 questions a day.

I usually ask a lot of questions in other sites.

Berserker's avatar

No. No problem for me, as I don’t have enough questions to ask to worry about it.

OpryLeigh's avatar

I only ask questions if a: I feel the question is Fluther worthy and b: I genuinly want answers for that question. I don’t ask questions just because I can. I don’t think I have ever used all three of my question rights in 24 hours.
