I need some ideas for what to wear as a fancy dress costume, it’s for a stag/bachelor party and it’s going to be in Spain so it will be quite hot. Any suggestions?

A Bachelor party, and you are in a dress costume? Is it a mixed gender bachelor party, or are you the entertainment? I am confused?
No I’m not the entertainment, everyone will be wearing a costume. Its going to be over 4 nights and we decided to wear fancy dress one night for fun.
So you are one of the men? And you are all dressing up as women? Or, you use “dress” as formal or pretend. I think I am just confusing American English with British English.
Fancy dress as in a costume, kind of like a Halloween costume.

Pirate. Billowy pirate shirt, open at the chest, loose pantaloons and sandals. Comfy and lightweight for the heat, plus you can carry a bottle of rum around all night and be in character.
For a hot Spanish night? A toga made of a sheet and a halo of bay leaves. (Wear underwear or not). Oh. And flip flops.
Are you just looking for an easy/funny costume? I assume you are not the groom.
I’ve seen the best costume for fancy-dress go to something that is easy and a reference to pop culture. Ex. Wear a regular suit and glasses and walk around saying “mmm, yeah. Did you get the memo? We’re gonna have to go ahead and ask you to get me another beer now. mmm k?” ala Bill Lumburgh (Office Space)

No way was I going to wear the borat mankini. Got a super mario costume, friends going as luigi.
I was dressed up as father christmas a couple days ago, in Spain… It was not fun.
Avoid:
Itchy beards, face paint, itchy fabrics, rubber, anything that does not let the skin breathe, or anything that would give the Guardia Civil police an urge to kick you to the other end of the street. e.g. toga + beer bottle.
You Will Want:
Masks and recognized standard fancy dress. I’d say go with vampire.
Toga is good option, you can get it in white or black color..
It would be very for for hot season
