Bring that person you want to feel guilty to fluther, show them this question, ask him/her what she thinks about it, and follow, his/her’s advice

iceskate, if this is in any way related to your other question about your mum, I don’t think a deliberate attempt to make her feel guilty and bad is the way to make her show sympathy and caring. It may upset her more than soften her. I’d recommend following the advice you got in the other question, tell her what’s really upsetting you, give her a chance to understand. She is your mum, but not a mind-reader.

Ive confronted her and she’s still using the school excuse and not listening

Mind if I ask what the problem is? Feel free to tell me in a private comment if you prefer.

you won’t believe me but its really all a part of being 13, hormones and puberty, seriously, everyone goes through it and one day you will think about back when you were 13 and you will say to yourself “what was wrong with me? Why was I soo dramatic about everything?” I’m not trying to insult you at all, I went through the same thing when I was 13, I’m convinced that 13 just really is not a good year for anyone.

ya I realize that I was overreacting now…... Eventho its been maybe 2 hours

13 was the worst year of my life, and now that I’m a parent I really see how difficult that year must have been for my mom and I feel horrible about everything I put her through.

iceskate, I love the way you ask, listen, pay attention, have a sense of what people are saying, and get on with it.

Why would you want to do that?
