Do you know the name of this children's book?

This was a beautifully illustrated alphabet book that had pictures of items and animals that began with each letter as you went through the alphbet. They were “hidden” in the illustrations, sort of like in a “Where’s Waldo” book. They were magically vivid and very colorful illustrations. I would love to buy this book for my nieces and nephews if I can find it. The book, as I remember it, was a large hardback book but not a thick book. For some reason I believe there may have been “blocks” of pictures on each page maybe. Any ideas on the name or illustrator?
