What symbol or shape do you think most appropriately resembles 'you'?
So for instance, if you are a warm, kind person the right sign might be a heart. A teacher might think an apple. Mine is apparently (according to husband) a cauldron… Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble… well that’s him sorted.
So what symbol would most suit you?

A helix. I twist and turn through my time, picking up connections, connecting the connections and moving through them all.
A skull and crossbones with a little bow on the head.
Or a mug of beer lol.
A tree. I am tall and slender and I have incredible balance when I am sober.

A skillet wearing a pair of ice skates and waving a wooden spoon in one hand and a net strainer in the other (even though skillets normally don’t have hands, but in this case they do). Plus, in my case, I’d be skating on a block of cheese instead of a block of ice.
A slim cat. That could be translated as opportunistic but independent.
Either a letter (A, obviously, or N, for my real last name) or a bird. Which is, of course, why they’re pretty much always in my avatars. I have no idea why, though. They just resonate with me for some reason.
I think someone else would have to tell me what really resembles me, probably. What do you guys think?

Like johnpowell I want to say tree but for different reasons. A tree has roots and stability or it dies, but at the same time it is always growing and reaching for the sky. I have always loved drawing trees and I love how their beauty changes throughout the seasons and how that reflects birth, then death, then rebirth in such a beautiful, visible way.
A circle, because i’m a well rounded individual & I get dizzy if you spin me too fast.

Forgive me for forgetting the name of the jelly who drew an awsome picture with ideas that were given to her by all of us. It was about 5 or 6 months ago, anyway the drawing ended up looking really cool.
Wouldn’t it be great if that same jelly could take all of our image ideas and make an illustration out of those?

I don’t know the drawing, but it sounds like a good plan. I have to say, ignoring my rude husband’s suggestion that a cauldron would suit me… I have been pondering on what my own symbol should be and I think a firework. My friend said I have a ‘sparkler gram brain” because I have a million ideas going off at once usually. I also have a pretty firework like temper (luckily with a slow fuse though). So you want a frying pan (that is a skillet right?) waving a net strainer (those things that look kinda like flat butterfly nets?) skating on cheese? I can do that. I just wanna make sure I got those items right lol.
More details; do you want it to have a face? Since it’s skating, it needs two legs, right? And finally, do you want a certain background colour, or some little extra somewhere? (or I’ll show you the drawing on a white background and you decide then)
Let’s see, yes a skillet is just like a frying pan, and I think it would be cute if I had a face that was like those yellow smiley faces, and I need a net strainer like you described in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other. Two legs with ice skates either standing on a block of orange cheese, or a flat spot that mimics ice (you know with the fake shine marks made from lines) but it should be orange. A plain background is fine. Thanks!

I thought about getting a tattoo of this… but nah. The Comedy and Tragedy masks—not the grotesque ones that tat parlors have, but just a simple Comedy/Tragedy pair. The masks represent so many levels and layers of me, as well as the contradictions in me!
