Have you started a new hobby lately?

Isn’t bird-watching wonderful? Do you own a good bird book?

I recently started learning how to cook and found out that I really enjoy it. Who knew that this would come about at this old age? Certainly not me. The measurement of success is when the SO likes it and doesn’t get sick.

It’s technically not a “new” hobby, but I have recently rediscovered oil painting after a hiatus of a few years.

Oh, and fitness is a new hobby of mine.

No, not any new hobbies, just variations of the old.

Writing, poetry, gardening, birding, sculpting, interior design, waterfowl rescue.
If only I could retire I’d be on fire with my interests! lol

Well, I started using electronic cigarettes a few years ago. Once I decided on a purchase I thought that would be it. Keeping up with the newest technology, attending gatherings of people who use the devices, posting online, reading and watching videos reviews and online webcasts, and sampling the numerous flavors of e-juice has actually turned my escape from cigarettes into an ongoing pursuit.

If it ain’t a hobby it’s most certainly an obsession.

Gardening. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I do.

Yes I have, it’s called hide the pan. A rewarding little pastime because it stops the wife from cremating…..cooking dinner. Who’s for take-away?

I have a still in my kitchen and I boil the hell out of plants. :)

I’d say fitness, if that counts as a hobby. I got a stationary bike about 6 weeks ago, and so far I’ve biked from my apartment to Albany, NY ;)

I’m planning to build a huge mosque in my minecraft server, so I’m definitely studying architecture, primarily Islamic architecture.

@Michael_Huntington I built a huge gothic cathedral and then blew part of it up after a while and took down all the interior lights so it would become infested with monsters. Instant haunted church. It was pretty rad.

I used to enjoy bird watching when I was younger, unfortunately my eyesight has deteriorated too much to be able to do it any more. I can still see well enough to paint though; I took up watercolour painting in a big way, about four or five months ago.
