What scenes would you put in your own 2 minute headstone video?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28813points) July 12th, 2011

I read an article once that a certain entrepreneur has started a business creating 2 minute videos of yourself which will play in a loop, in a small screen that would be in a waterproof and airtight encasement and this would be attached to your headstone.

The idea is for people, whether family or friends to better remember you and what you were about in the past. First, would you like to have this video at all and if you did, what would you put in that commemorative video?

I wouldn’t give the idea a second thought.

I would have this playing.

disclaimer: i actaully would. in fact, i’m changing my will as we speak.

@Blondesjon I’m a little angry with you right now for sticking that earworm into my brain.

I don’t think I’d want a video headstone. I like wandering in cemeteries and speculating on the lives of the people buried there. Videos would be intrusive.

I would have a song I wrote playing. Or maybe a couple of poems I’ve written.

@Blueroses Yeah, dead people aren’t supposed to talk! LOL

I wouldn’t want that thing in my headstone.

I would have my head digitally placed on James T. Kirk’s body in the latest remake of Star Trek for all of those 2 minutes.

I don’t want a video headstones. I want my memory to live in the minds of those who knew me. Not some random person walking past my grave.

@Blueroses Yeah. Graveyards are the only classic thing remaining in this world, let’s not fuck em up.

But if I had to…I’d just have myself headbanging and knocking stuff over with my hair.
