A question for Fluther historians; what is the record for consecutive questions with zero lurve?

Asked by Hypocrisy_Central (26879points) July 14th, 2011

Those of you who fancy yourself Fluther historians or fact checkers, what is the largest span of consecutive questions that failed to gain even one lurve? In other words how many questions in a row have you ever seen to come up with zilch, zero, buttkus, na da, a bagel, etc.

Second, what was the lowest lurve count for 100 contiguous questions for example 100 question = 23 lurve, etc, and how many times has that happened?

Why look for the worst when you can simply celebrate the best.

That’s the way to go out on top.

Why look for the worst when you can simply celebrate the best. That would be an abnormally of a different sort, same as this question. As questions like that you pointed out, and this same time, questions I am curious about was the other end were people paid no attention or simply boycotted or ignore it.

There are all sorts of odd facts that I think would be interesting. The longest span with out asking a question, the longest question, the longest answer, for instance. I figured I would focus away from the lurve because that is usually the emphasis

I’d be curious to see the questions Hypo mentioned.

It wasn’t so much a serious answer, I just love janets :P

This isn’t really something you can do with the tools available for a few reasons. Accounts get deleted, people move on, and not everyone shows their questions. The only real way to answer it would be to query the database and we don’t have access.

Making an educated guess I would say the longest streak of donuts or lowest total for a high number of questions would belong to either someone who was learning english or a troll. I’d also say it would have to be from the “early days” when there were a lot less people and the lurve didn’t flow so freely.

Trolls usually have their accounts deleted, so they’re hard to track down.

Everyone else, it just seems rude to point out that they have a lot of questions no one seems to enjoy.

So I’ll just say I can’t find anyone with a longer streak than 3, and you’ve matched that streak in the past @Hypocrisy_Central

If someone can find longer, then you’ll have a current champion.

Celebrating the best was a lot more fun

Since most people lurve the new comers [to encourage them]. Questions or answers get lurved. Last few days I saw that even spammers got lurve :) [TheDailyLoaf (a spam bot) had around 30 lurve in like 15 minutes with 3 or 4 replies].

But to get the lowest lurve for questions you need to look to the people who get their “orphans” most times. Not all questions are orphans but still, if one gets a reply without a lurve then there you go.
