How do I cancel a cricket account?

I’ve recently heard that it’s almost impossible to cancel an account and that customer service isn’t the best. I’ve had my phone for about a year, how do I go about canceling my account?

Do you want to change to another wireless service? Just go to the “NEW” company have them port your number and call Cricket at 1–800-CRICKET to confirm you are the owner.

@Tropical_Willie No, I was planning on just canceling for good. I just can’t seem to afford it right about now. I was thinking of just canceling the credit card account so that they stop taking my money, but I didn’t know if that would work.

@mayratapia_ You have to contact CRICKET, if you cancel the credit card account they may notify the credit bureaus and your credit rating will “TANK”.
