My favourite subject at school is Visual Art and Visual Design as I do well/better in these subjects then the other ones. For example, maths, english, science etc.

Physics…
It was great understanding the world better and it didn’t involve endless hours of studying.

I took three years of woodworking in high school and that was my favorite. I also did three years of drafting since that was fun and the teacher was usually out back smoking weed when we would go out back to smoke weed. Math was always easy. I was the annoying guy in math class that answered everything the teacher asked. I didn’t do it to show how smart I was. I just wanted the teacher to hurry the fuck up with the lesson so we could have some time in class to do the homework.

I loved my acoustics class in college! Got to mess around with all sorts of cool electronics in the sound lab including one of the first MOOG synthesizers ever made! That thing was outrageous!

Now we’re differentiating between high school and college!!! ok! Favourite high school classes were history and PE. Favourite college class was either Totalitarianism in the 20th Century or The History of Modern China!

I loved English and truly enjoyed my Psychology class when I was finally able to take it my Senior year. And even though I wasn’t very good at making pottery, Ceramics was a blast and I still keep in touch with my art teacher.

I liked pretty much everything that wasn’t math. I like math, in fact, but I’m not very good at it.

I really loved all my classes but I would have to say French beat out History, English, Biology, Chemistry etc for the plain enjoyment factor.

Foreign Language (Latin) was my favorite subject in high school (no surprise that I’m majoring in linguistics then) and I’ve always enjoyed History (we always called it “Social Studies” though).

My favorite subject was Math, followed closely by Science. I also enjoyed Social Studies.

Even though you didn’t ask, I hated Gym.

In grade school, it was Art.

In high school, it was science.
All of them…chemistry, biology, physics.

In college, it was Architecture & Art. Anything with a studio environment.

Most of the people who know me (and my love for literature) are always surprised that I didn’t like English class in high school or that I didn’t go on to major in English in college. But I think the structure of class (at least to me) really takes the joy out of reading. I didn’t like being told what to read or when to read it. And how to discuss it. No thanks.
