Do you like looking at the clouds?

Asked by disenchanted_poisongirl (1443points) July 24th, 2011

And if you do, what do you see in them?
I’ve seen many different things. Horses, sharks, dragons, even frying pans.

I hate the clouds…
He’d tell me everything would be alright, and that he loved me, and I’d look up. Because we used to go outside and just lay there for hours, watching the clouds go by… Like nothing bad will happen. Just me and him. That’s all that mattered.
Now it’s just me.

I like stars better. They’re more consistent.
I do enjoy clouds though.
I once saw an elephant. :)

I love the kinds of patterns the clouds have in them.
In the morning the parrot and I go to the window and give each other a weather report, ‘Oh blue skies!’ ‘Nice fluffy clouds!’ ‘Looks like rain!’ She seems to respond differently depending on what’s out there. And if there is a storm brewing she will report on that by pacing back and forth making nervous chirps and squawks.

@AshLeigh that’s so sad. I hope you can reclaim your clouds w/o him – the jerk! What matters is that you are there and the clouds are yours now.

Yes, I love looking at clouds, and I often see shapes in them.

I love laying in the grass looking at them…it is not what I see that gets me it is the feelings I get and the moment of relaxation that comes from thinking of nothimng else but the puffy fluffiness floating before my eyes!

Yes I do. I love looking for different things in the clouds and seeing what my son sees as well.

Yes, but at the same time I don’t because the sky is really bright still and it hurts my eyes. Some of the things I see are mostly animals and one time I saw one that resembled the shape of the Titanic and one in the shape of a heart, it was pretty.

I love looking at clouds and there is a rich variety of clouds to see in this part of the world. I am a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society but I seldom see pictures in the clouds.

I love clouds. They have no discriptive form or pattern…How can that be? But yet many things can be seen in them.

They look all soft and pillowy!

@dabbler,
No, he’s not a jerk. It’s not all his fault. I know I was wrong.
@disenchanted_poisongirl,
Thanks.

Love it. One of my memories from when I was younger is of lying on my bed and just watching the clouds moving passed my window. I also love watching storm clouds rolling in and the clouds at night as the sun sets…beautiful. I also enjoy when you are on a plane and you look out and the clouds look as if you could just step out onto them and walk around on them like fluffy white pillows.

Can’t say I can remember seeing anything in them. I just like the shapes and the peacefulness of watching them. I agree with @cruiser… lying on the grass watching the clouds go by is a lovely thing to do.

Every time I try to watch the clouds my eyes water up and I have to go put on sunglasses…but I usually see cirrus, nimbus, and stratus!
