You won’t have heard of this, but A Guy named Joe by Coyote Grace.

It used to be (or feel like) It Only Rains on Me by Don Williams. (I heard it once on a jukebox in 1980, without knowing the singer – since I never went to that bar before or since, or listened to ‘country’ – and it took me another 20 years to find it again. I had a different life then, but… this applies to everyone from time to time, I suppose.)
