Do you think the "Questions for you" page cycles too much?

Asked by Axemusica (9500points) August 1st, 2011

Earlier, before I left to go be apart of my local music scene, there were like 5 or 6 awesome questions that I really wanted to touch base on, but I was heading out the door. Now those questions are gone and I don’t remember what they were.

So, as the header says… Do you tend to have this problem as I?

I haven’t, but I tend to check in on Fluther several times a day and go through the questions for me and my new activity. I’ve heard several others mention this though.

Yes, I wish all the active questions would stick around longer.

But if you are in a hurry and you can’t reply just close the browser and open it when you have time to read and reply.
And one more thing. When you have 10+ questions there better just reply one at a time and when you answered don’t click “questions for you” again but hit just BACK on your browser on just back on the keyboard till you end up at the questions again. This way you have time to answer all. I know it because I do it.

Yes! Yes it does cycle too fast for me.

Just a bit. I sometimes think I miss good ones on days I don’t Fluther much. Occasionally I’ve found them later and proved my suspicions right.

It used to move too slowly, and would build up thousands of questions for you, so we changed it a while back. Now it seems to move too quickly. There’s got to be a sweet spot in there that we haven’t quite hit yet, but hopefully we’ll get there in the future. In the meantime, it would be a good idea to quickly open the Qs you’re interested in and click on ‘follow question’. Then it’ll show up in your ‘activity for you’ when you come back later.

Thanks @augustlan I do that sometimes, but will make more effort to do it in the future.

I would rather it build up. I rarely have the time to fluther anymore and I don’t see much of questions I’m interested in, but the other day it was like every question I wanted to check out the thread, but didn’t have time.
