What should be done when a chronic migraine strikes?

I’ve been suffering from headaches my whole life. I tried all types of medicines that the doctor described and no use. I know when I’m going to get a migraine usually before three hours or so and I can’t do anything about it but suffer!

The migraines have also been horrendous lately and all i have to do is just wait until its all over. I don’t know what to do anymore and it’s frustrating! Once the migraine session is over, it feels like I’m back to earth!
