Failed dreams…

-Living dead, i.e; having a terminal, debilitating illness, waiting to die.
-Becoming a ‘potato’ or quadriplegic; knowing the joys of movement, and speech and then loosing it all.

Physical torture.

Being nonexistent. Continuously being ignored on a broad scale everyday—to the point where there’s nobody around you to say good morning to, even though you’re surrounded by people. That will make even the strongest personality break.

La Sabaneta

Venezuela is known for its brutal prisons, where violence is a daily occurrence, and inmates are at the mercy of disease outbreaks, underpaid staff, little medical services, and insufficient food and care. La Sabaneta is the worst of the worst, a place where cholera outbreaks have wiped out 700 inmates, amidst “appalling violence” and riots that triggered a horrific massacre of 100 inmates back in 1994. Death is rampant at La Sabaneta, and the hair-trigger tempers of inmates and staff are thought to be linked to idleness and boredom, as no activities are permitted to release tension: left to their own devices, prisoners fight amongst themselves, fashion shivs and other deadly weapons, and kill one another in this truly archaic penal facility.

@poisonedantidote Rick is cool lol. I’m not a fan but whenever someone rick rolls someone else I listen to the song. [you start to like it after a while]

Worse than death is living in shame.

Dying is worse than death. Once it has happened it isn’t really a problem.

Your_Majesty's avatar

Stupidity, lack of even a scrap of beauty, chronic diseases, and extreme poverty.

ucme's avatar

Spending eter…......what “the bastard” said.

Everything. When you’re dead, you’re gone and you don’t feel pain anymore.

nebule's avatar

being locked in a dark, very dark room, with no-one else and nothing else, apart from food and water to keep you alive for the rest of your days…

Slavery
Dishonor
Watching while your children are slaughtered
Watching while your wife is raped

There are LOTS of things far worse than death!

A complete lack of love in your life.

Having to give birth through your penis?

Death is release. Everything else is worse than death. For me, the thought of lingering many years without the ability to truly live is horrifying. The thought of extreme physical or mental “damage” without the release of death terrifies me. Suffering, loss, dire loneliness, poverty, hunger . . . the list goes on and on.

filmfann's avatar

Nothing.
Death will begin my being in Heaven. What could be better than that?
It all depends on your point of view.

Never-ending depression.

john65pennington's avatar

Being trapped in a coffin, 4 feet underground with no light or air. You hear every heart beat and you count your breath, until your last.

CWOTUS's avatar

I agree with the Fiddle kid: being God must be hell.

Blondesjon's avatar

Aside from a terminal illness, nothing is worse than death. This is the only go around we get folks, find a way to embrace it or you wasted it for nothing.

Simone_De_Beauvoir's avatar

Seeing your children be tortured.

King_Pariah's avatar

Waking up to find myself spooning, in the nude, Rosie O’Donnell. And as several people know here, death isn’t frightening or terrible to me at all. “I shall tell her a story and she will be kind to me.” -Alexandre Dumas

Jersey Shore (TV Show)

King_Pariah's avatar

@erichw1504 eh, I’d say better Snooki than Rosie.

TexasDude's avatar

@rebbel that avatar coupled with your answer is just… really unsettling.

rebbel's avatar

@Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard You are totally right, it looks like I enjoy it.
I am going to change my avatar now (and letting you know it, otherwise people will think why it is unsettling…, my real life face together with my answer).

Before I changed my avatar, it looked like this.

Berserker's avatar

Getting tortured, or have experiments performed upon me, like Japan did in WWII. If something like that ever happen, I’d much rather just get shot in the head than get tortured.

deni's avatar

Extreme constipation? Okay, so probably not….but it is really, truly awful. That and torture, probably.

Joker94's avatar

Another vote for eternal life. Also, being buried alive, being tortured, watching your loved ones die, being the last man alive.

Sunny2's avatar

All these answers added together sounds like Hell to me.

erichw1504's avatar

Donald Trump naked.

Hypocrisy_Central's avatar

Rosie O’Donnell naked is FAR worse than Donald

King_Pariah's avatar

@Hypocrisy_Central Being spooned/spooning a naked Rosie is even worse

erichw1504's avatar

Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell spooning naked.

King_Pariah's avatar

@erichw1504 with you sandwiched in the middle

Hypocrisy_Central's avatar

@King_Pariah Eeeeewww!!! No you didn’t! Rosie spooning me naked!?! Ewwwww…...that is worse than Two Girls and a Cup. I feel icky now, I have to shower just thinking of that.

ucme's avatar

Err, I seem to have posted in the wrong thread…..moving on, nowt to see here.

TexasDude's avatar

Well this took a turn for the interesting.

CWOTUS's avatar

Based on another extant thread, I’d now change my answer to…

living in Texas.

ucme's avatar

@Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard Speaking for my own erroneous post, a simple error occured. I wrote an answer meant for another thread, first time for everything I suppose.
