Is it still possible to experience cramping on birth control, even though there is no chance of a period until next month?

Asked by chaceisalive (24points) August 19th, 2011

I haven’t had sex, so pregnancy is impossible. Next month in 2 months I get my period. If I wasn’t on birth control, my period would be due in a few days. I’ve only been on birth control for a month. Is it still possible to experience cramping for a period that could’ve came if I wasn’t on birth control?

Yup. Birth control does not remove all symptoms of your menstrual cycle, especially not right away.
